Always prepared with a smile, a joke, and a length of rope, Murphy Blue has been bringing his kink knowledge and signature style wherever he could since the turn of the century. A self-claimed “American Rigger”, Murphy tries to focus not just on the *hows* of tying, but the frequently forgotten *whys*. The interplay of people and energy through rope and gestures is something that should be passed along, and Murphy does his best to assist with that.
While most well known for his unique ropework, creative performances, bouncy demeanor, and intense love for Transformers, “The Blue” is also a scholar of different kinky skills, a skilled photographer, a budding writer, a practicing energy worker of multiple traditions, and a pretty darn good dancer. He is on a constant search for more information about the art of Shibari, experience different fetish environments and learn new skills. Murphy travels the country with the lovely ladies of “Team Blue”, sharing insight, gaining knowledge, and saving the world, one knot at a time.
There is a tale of him being trapped and his only chance to survive was to suspend multiple women to please a dark council. When asked about this, Murphy only smiles. Visit his website at www.murphyblue.net.
Using the powers of hypnosis, The Mez will probe the limits of the subconscious minds of his volunteers who willingly submit themselves to be placed under his authority and control. This is not a show for the faint of heart. If you are easily offended by foul language or sexual situations then you should not attend. Otherwise, if you enjoy naughty sexual adult humor that can be raunchy, raw, crazy and totally off the hook hilarious, then you have to come. This show borders on the obscene with no intentional nudity but there is also no script. No one, not even The Mez ever knows for sure what will happen next. It’s adult situational comedy at its best. If you have ever wanted to be hypnotized and if you are brave enough, you can volunteer to be entranced by The Mez and let him have his way with you. It’s an orgasmic experience you do not want to miss. Visit his website at www.ronberrythemez.com.

The Rum Runners
The Rum Runners formed in late 2014 with the desire to merge the folk classics of the British Isles with classic Americana. They have often referred to themselves, quite simply, as “Scottish, Irish, English, American, Pirate Folk Music.” The three performers each bring different aspects of their individual musical backgrounds to the table to create a rowdy and engaging experience.
The Sons of Gladys Kravitz
A whimsical name evoking another time, when actors could act and sitcoms were funny—and the music was great! The Sons of Gladys Kravitz specialize in performing the very best music of the last 50 years, with letter-perfect renditions of classic songs from artists ranging from the Allman Brothers to ZZ Top—and many great artists in between.
The band members are all veterans of the Central Iowa music scene, and include Wade Krieg (guitars/vocals), Stan Richard (keyboards/vocals), Greg Leeper (bass/vocals), Rick Maly (drums/vocals), Greg Valentine (violin/acoustic guitar and vocals) and Sandy England (percussion.) Additionally, they are frequently joined by other outstanding local veteran musicians, including Al Kabela (pedal steel guitar) and Jerry Peoples (saxophones and percussion.)
Mention must also be made of the band’s audiovisual engineer Mike Maly of Maly Sound, whose expertise in sound reinforcement/mixing and lighting is second to none. Thanks to Mike, the audience is treated to a fantastic sonic and visual experience rarely if ever achieved at the level of a local band.
